I was really excited about seeing a PLF ensemble I never heard or seen before. Larry Campbell is a wizard, just amazing. Show was definitely sweet. My very moments came in the second set, from Hurricane on. Great energy. Good show!

Gotta love Phil. Prior to Bimbo's I was a Quintet snob, but I loved the Bimbo's, Vegoose, Late-Night line-ups and this lineup is incredible. Chris Robinson is great, and the interplay between Sless and Seigal is fantastic. I have always been partial to Molo as the official Phil drummer...he's a beast. I had never really listened to Campbell before listening to this show, but after listening I have come to the conclusion that he is a spectacular addition to the ever-growing family of Phil. Wish I was on the east-coast to see this line-up. To those bashing Chris Robinson for having to use a telepromter, don't forget various Grateful Dead members used one and still forgot lyrics. Oh yeah, the Terrapin Station is played the same tempo a la the Quintet. Great sound too. Enjoy the download!!!

For the first show of the tour this was very hot. I was at the show and think this is the tightest band Phil has had yet. I was just listening to the recording for the first time and heard Phil singing a verse from unbroken chain during the jam in St Stephen. I did not notice this the night of the show. Great quality recording. By the way I talked with a few members of Railroad Earth who were attending the show.

Words cannot describe the energy present at the Sovereign Center a few nights ago. With the new addition of Robinson and Campbell this is the most exciting Phil lineup I have seen. The recording here is amazing and it does a good job of capturing the feeling but you really had to see Phil on Monday. He was literally glowing the entire evening--it was clear that he was having a real good time (as were the rest of us). Some highlights were an amazing Hard to Handle, a tripped out Mountains of the Moon and the fastest Terrapin I have ever heard. The whole show had a great down home bluesy feel that was getting everyone in the mood. These guys are smokin and its going to be a real good tour. Thanks so much for the fast post.
